You know, I’m addicted to reading the news while I eat lunch. Love to zip around and find out what’s happening in the world. Well, one of my favorites is to read the “odd news” - you know the freaky type things about dumb crooks, or the cat who rode in the spare tire for 70 miles.
Not many things really surprise me, however, this story yesterday really did.
How about a diamond made from someone’s ashes?
Apparently this company in Switzerland will make a diamond of someone’s ashes for about $7500 dollars. To be honest, I can say I’ve never even remotely thought of something like that. It’s just so odd - kind of like Angelina Jolie carrying around a vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood when they were married.
Freaky weird IMHO. I don’t think I’d want to walk around with anyone’s remains hanging from my neck, my ears or resting on my finger.

I heard a story about this on the radio and it kind of icked me out. I couldn’t imagine wearing a piece of jewelry made out of a loved ones ashes
