Happiest Hump Day to you all! It’s one day closer to my vacation (woot!)

Sometimes you know how you hear something so incredibly out there in the news that it makes you laugh? Well I heard a story on the radio the other day and it goes like this…

Three crooks decided to steal a recliner from the Goodwill store.
They broke in and loaded said recliner in their van.
The van ran out of gas in the PARKING LOT of the Goodwill store.
The crooks were arrested by police.
The End.

If you’re like me, you laughed. I mean, for real people, if you’re going to steal a piece of furniture, why pick the donated, used chair? And then be dumb enough to not have enough gas to make it out of the parking lot?

Anybody else have an incredibly funny, yet sadly stupid, story like this to share?

Ah, it’s no longer Monday, thank Gawd. This week started out a bit rough - let’s just say yard work that includes marble chips, weeding and mulch turned my back into a blob of muscle agony.

I’m trying to take it easy now since I leave on Sunday for Vegas! Oh, yeah, four days along with my DH and no kidlets. I am soooooooooo excited. :D

However I’m not excited about the 5 pounds of water weight I’m currently toting around. Blech. Drinking water like a madwoman and have now sworn off salty foods for the next five days. I do not want to fly when I’m feeling bloated. Some days it sucks to be female, doesn’t it?

Back to my fun trip (stop whining girl!), this is only my second time in Vegas, so I’m open to any and all advice. I love to play roulette, some blackjack and love, love, love slots. My DH has taught me how to play craps, although I don’t think I’ll ever get all the rules straight in my head.

We’re going to try to go to an old West town while we’re there, see one show, sleep late, relax and do whatever we feel like. It sounds so heavenly. I’ve been going at about 1000 miles an hour the entire summer and now that DS #2 is gone for three weeks with the in-laws, things have slowed down to maybe 500 miles per hour.

I. Need. This. Trip.

I’ll be posting fun pics while I’m gone so look for them. In the meantime, have a fabulous Tuesday and don’t work too hard (or you’ll end up stressed, tired and bloated like me).
