Oh, I’m loving Friday morning, even though we’re having some seriously wicked weather. There was even tornadoes up near Greensboro - crazy stuff.
I’m looking forward to the weekend for sure. Tonight is book club (yay!) - we read My Best Friend’s Girl by Dorothy Koomson. Good book - tear-jerker but really good and I’m not one to enjoy first person POV too much. She wrote so smoothly though, I forgot it was first person - really conveyed the emotions of the characters as well through prose. Nicely done Ms. Koomson!
Tomorrow (oh boy oh boy oh boy), I am spending the day with my big sister and my mom doing something we looooove to do. Shopping!!! Oh heaven, oh bliss, cannot wait. Haven’t had a good old-fashioned shopping trip in ages. I’ll be up and out the door by 7:15 so I won’t be online much at all.
Just as a happy note, in Louisiana, this dude who lost homes in Katrina won $97 million in a lottery. I love it when karma rewards those who deserve it, especially good karma.
