It’s been a while since I posted a TT, so I thought I’d get one out there today.
Thirteen Amazing/Crazy/Memorable Events in April
1. My DS turned 12. *sigh*
2. I found out braces cost $5200 for a 12 YO. Ugh.
3. I went to RT and survived.
4. The final book in the Malloy series, The Legacy, released in print.
5. I finally met Kate Duffy.
6. Laura Bradford became my agent. Yeehaw!
7. Kate Duffy offered me a 3 book Brava contest. *hyperventilating*
8. I spent over $30 on a tank of gas for my Prius. It’s only 11 gallons. :(
9. I finished edits on Hell for Leather.
10. I spent a rainy five days at the beach.
11. I became a brunette again! Yay!
12. I celebrated 18 years of marriage with my DH.
13. I realized that achieving a dream is sweeter than any chocolate and more satisfying than… well, not quite, but almost more satisfying than anything else in the world.

You’ve had an awesome April…well except for the braces. Thankfully I only had to deal with that once…..dd needed them but ds doesn’t!!
by Blanche May 8th, 2008 at 12:26 pmOf all of these, the one that stuck out at me was #2 - I’m laughing at you - so sorry! Cause we’re paying for #1 son and just lined up #2 son. I think my orthodontist is in love with me and wants to run away with me in his brand new Ferrari.
by Lori May 8th, 2008 at 2:10 pmOh, and I just saw - The Redemption of Micah on your sidebar. One word - YES!!!
by Lori May 8th, 2008 at 2:12 pmYou looked so good as a brunette at RT, it was completely natural.
Now you’re going to tell me I’m an idiot and you weren’t brunette, aren’t you?
I met Kate, too. Isn’t she cool???
by Susan Helene Gottfried May 8th, 2008 at 4:03 pmCongratulations on all your recent success. Happy TT.
by pussreboots May 8th, 2008 at 5:38 pmI’m glad y’all enjoyed - it was a fun list to make.
Susan ~ I was blonde b/c of a hairdresser snafu. Being brunette again is much, much better. So yes, I was definitely brunette and it was mostly natural (except for the highlights).
Lori ~ LOL, yep Micah is due September 1 to Kensington. :)
