A Little Piece of Beautiful
April 24th, 2008

My wonderful DH has always been creative even though he has an engineer’s brain. LOL! Last year he decided to give his mother a custom-designed necklace for her 70th birthday, and that’s where the journey began.

He enjoyed making that necklace so much that he started designing jewelry for me, prowling stores and bead places for new ideas and materials.

That became not just a hobby but a creative outlet. I encouraged him to start a business and sell his beautifully made jewelry. After months of planning and crafting, he’s launched his website.

Ta-da!

Little River Jewelers!

He’s amazingly talented at putting the right pieces of stuff together to make the jewelry look fabulous.

Right now he’s helping raise money for the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer research along with a friend of ours with custom made awareness jewelry - be sure to order something to help out!

He’s also creating a new “line” for me - isn’t that cool? It’s going to be the Beth Williamson collection. He showed me the prototypes of the bookmarks last night. Awesome!!

Anyhoo, if you like jewelry, pop on by and take a look at what he’s got out there. I’ve got a lot of truly unique pieces that he hasn’t even posted because there’s only one of them. :)

Go ahead y’all, wear a little piece of beautiful!

  1. I really love gifts that make a difference. What a beautiful necklace your husband has made!

Another site I found is All Wired Up Jewelry http://www.allwiredupjewelry.com. They have a pendant that also benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
