My car is going toward 3 years old (my cute little Prius). Until yesterday I hadn’t put any dents or scratches in it (although I had a few “door dings” from inconsiderate buttheads).
Did you read that? UNTIL YESTERDAY.
I scraped the absolute crap out the side of my car on the mailbox. Here’s what happened. DH left a letter in our mailbox and gets in his car to go to work. I don’t leave anything in the mailbox if I’m not home. Identify theft, ya know?
“You can take it if you want.” He says as I drive down the driveway. I get the letter (through the window of the car of course) and try to put the flag down. Does it work? No, so I push harder, still doesn’t budge. I see him coming down the driveway and try to pull my car out of the way.
Scraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaape.
Craptastic. I just put a two foot long scrap on the side of my car and the window, yet the flag is still up. Son of a b*tch. He pulls up and tells me to lift the flag up to put it down. Stupid, piece of crap mailbox. :(
And now my car is now sporting a new character mark.
I am so annoyed at myself. I mean, what the hell? I ruined my car. *sob* The only good news is that I resisted the urge to eat junk food (I am on a challenge diet) although my stress level climbed sky high yesterday as other craptastic news hit me.
I need a pick me up - anybody want to share a joke? 
Sucktastic. :( I feel your pain. I have a newish car and just found my first dashboard scrape (courtesy of my husband… grr!).
