I’m still in the writing cave (wrote until 11 pm last night) and at it again this morning. I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year’s Eve. Here in the south, people celebrate with liquor and fireworks. Yep, a dangerous combination but I stayed indoors with a dozing DH.
I’ll be out of the cave starting tomorrow - have to go back to “real” work. *sigh* I’ll be up at 5 am again and I’m not looking forward to it. Why the heck doesn’t NY call with a four book deal and a 50K advance so I can quit this job? LOL!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

I personally don’t like all the idea of partying and worried about my husband out as a Deputy with all the drunks. Guess it wasn’t too bad around here.
by Jane Squires January 1st, 2008 at 4:56 pmBelieve it or not I was up at midnight welcoming in the New Year carving a turkey I cooked. My daughter’s boyfriend she lives with had a heart attack on Christmas Eve. So we have been preparing food and taking over there as he is on medical leave now with no income. So I made the turkey as my daughter wanted turkey salad. I also made them a small pumpkin pie and homemade noodles.
My husband will take it over there when he gets up shortly.
He already ate some turkey salad at noon before laying down.
We have doing what we can.
Hope 2008 is better for us as I had an ankle fusion in Sept. and still have a boot shoe cast so cannot drive to go get things or do things for my daughter.
God Bless your New Year from beginning to end.
Hi Jane ~ you sound like a great mom who loves her family very much. I wish you joy, peace and happiness in the new year. Let’s all hope 2008 brings us blessings. **hugs**
