It’s been surprisingly warm this winter, I mean like record breaking temperatures. Three days ago it was 72. Today it’s 28 and snowing/sleeting/freezing rain.

School’s closed so I’m stuck at home trying to work at my “real” job and resist the lure to work on my WIP and knock out some of the rest of it… I’m making steady progress at it, but I sure do with I was done (I’m sure my editor does too).

Anyhoo, here’s an odd piece of news I found this morning.

Apparently a chimp at the Little Rock Zoo escaped, raided the kitchne, then cleaned the toilet with a toilet brush (that’s a little weird). The thing is, this chimp was 120 pounds. Um, I’m thinking they’re small-ish, at least under 75 pounds or so… but 120 pounds? That’s bigger than my 14 YO. That would scare the absolute crap outta me if I found this thing on top of my fridge!

Just a random story that made me go 0_0. How’s everyone else faring out there? So much bad weather and ickiness, even in southern areas that don’t get it. Global warming anyone?

Yep, still in the writing cave but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

“Back in black, I hit the sack, I’ve been too long, I’m glad to be back” Things sometimes get really crazy for you, and sometimes you have to get away from all the chaos. But each time you stage your comeback, it’s even better than the last!

This is me, deep in the writing cave… a deadline has passed and I must kick my own butt and buckle down in the cave to finish as soon as possible. Or risk the wrath of my own stupidity.

Then I need to go to the next writing cave, that one is much smaller, to finish something else. I should only be in there for two days.

Then… yep, you guessed it, another deeeep writing cave. I am booked up solid for quite some time, which is a good thing. However, that means I’m not online as much as I should be and I miss everyone.

At some point I need to come out for air, but I can’t see that happening until March. Eek!! Anyhoo, I’m also working on my RT promo items (can’t wait to share it with y’all) and trying not to drive my editors too crazy.

So, you’ll see me popping my head up now and then to play. I totally missed Sasha’s blog party. I really need to get myself organized.

Perhaps I should have made a resolution to do that. Anyone out there make any resolutions for 2007 (broken or unbroken)?

I’ve been on the look out for a scent for me. I’ve tried lots of sample perfumes, and a lot of them make me sneeze, unfortunately. I found one I really like though, Vera Wang’s Princess. Kinda pricy so I’ve got to save up for it.

For the last year and a half I’ve been publishing a free online Ezine and I’ve now put an end to that. Instead of the SECRET THOUGHTS eZine, everything will now be on my website. There’s new content, and new features to make it more interactive, and more fun for everyone!
