Okay, my good friend Allie sent this to me. My least favorite quote? “You have no right to question him.”
Sad thing is, this was only 50 years ago! Ugh. I think I might be sick.

Thanks for everyone that posted comments over the last two days - I’m so excited to see Hermano’s story in print in The Reward! Now to haunt Borders and Waldenbooks until it shows up. Anyhoo, without further ado, the name drawn from the “bucket” this morning from all the comments is… Congrats girl! E-mail me at your choice of The Bounty or The Prize in paperback and your snail mail addy and I’ll get it out to you tomorrow! AND, that’s not all… (can you feel the excitement?) If you posted over the last two days, you are entitled to a set of my bookmarks! All you need to do is e-mail at with your addy and I’ll mail them out. Everyone is a winner in my corral. Still rolling along everyone! Keep on posting to win a copy of The Bounty or The Prize in paperback with matching bookmark! Everyone that posts on my blog Tuesday and Wednesday (September 19-20) is going to be entered in the drawing. Joy told me she saw The Reward at Borders last night! Anyhoo, so it’s Wednesday already and tomorrow is the first day of fall officially - the autumnal equinox. Sounds fancy when you say that way, doesn’t it? So tell me, what’s your favorite memory of fall? Mine is watching my kids jump in the leaves after we spent hours raking them. They had so much fun running and jumping. My second favorite memory is the electric bill going down because the air conditioning isn’t running 24/7. Okay, let ‘er rip. Everyone share their favorite fall/autumn memories - including Halloween and Thanksgiving of course. September 19th, 2006
Woohoo!! Today is the official release day in print of The Reward, book 3 of the Malloy family series. To celebrate this momentous occasion (because I NEED to celebrate), I’m going to have a little giveaway! September 18th, 2006
I had a suspicion that I was allergic to some kind of food… through experimentation of my own, I thought it was wheat. I made an appointment at my allergists and headed off to be pricked this morning. |
