Aren’t these cool?

My fabuloso web designer, Frauke, has added some Halloween smilies to my blog. I love them!

I have such wonderful memories of Halloween as a kid. It’s funny how my parents let us go out for hours alone, yet now I won’t even let my 10 year old walk around our small neighborhood without an escort. And then there’s the candy… do you remember getting popcorn balls? Yep, I loved those! Oh, oh, and the cheap older couple that wrapped 10 pennies in tape?
Then when i got older - well, the rotten tomato fights with the boys in the neighborhood. And I remember very clearly getting hit with eggs from a moving car… we were all so evil!
Any favorite Halloween memories to share?

  1. what i loved when i was a kid trick or treating it was getting my fav candy. candy corn. i still love them. i dont have kids but i go out with my nieces n goddaughters trick or treating n i give them the excuse that my little niece is to scared to get the candy so i get it for her but in real is fo rme lol. just to get the candy corn. yeah where i grew up too the elder folks did give us pennys. lol
