August 15th, 2006

Wooooohoooo!!! The Prize is now available in paperback! Book 2 of the Malloy family series. Yay! Look at it’s so pretty on Amazon:

*happy dance, foolish dance, whooping*

It will be amazing to hold it in my hands. Can you say geek? I’ll likely order my own copy from Amazon!

Yep, here I go…

Woot! The Gift is done!
August 14th, 2006

Yeppers, I’m right proud of myself. *snaps suspenders* I finished my current WIP, The Gift, this weekend and sent it off to my editor at Samhain.

This is book 5 in the Malloy family series, Trevor’s story for those of you that liked the silver-tongued brother in The Treasure.

So, what’s next? Lots of submissions actually. One to St. Martin’s which I’m getting ready now (cross your fingers), one to the amazing Deidre Knight (next on the agenda), and then synopses proposals to my editors at LI and Samhain. They’re both wanting to contract the next two books for each publisher.

After that I have a couple of small projects to write, then dive into what I contract.

Oh, and Frauke is developing an amazing new website/blog design. It’s gorgeous! She’s so amazing - I lurve her.

Bookmarks have been ordered and I’m trying to set up a book signing.

Have a fabulous Monday (that is if you can since after all, it is Monday).

Reviews for The Treasure
August 11th, 2006

The Treasure is the fourth book in the Malloy family series, published July 18 electronically by Samhain. I was a “bit” nervous since this particular book had never been published or reviewed before. The reviews are starting to come in and all I can say is WOW.

W.O.W.

Check it out:

Joyfully Reviewed:

“The Treasure by Beth Williamson struck me right in the gut.  Ray Malloy is one of the orneriest and loneliest heroes I have ever read about.  Throughout the book I thought that if I could just smack him one time I would feel better.  However, wanting to do bodily harm to Ray soon was overpowered by my need to hold him in my arms and assure him that things would be just fine.  Lily, in all of her clumsy glory, made me smile.  Her tenacity and inability to give up on Ray and his daughter was just delightful.

The Treasure was by far the most touching and heart wrenching novel I have read from Ms. Williamson.  Full of hurt and past pains, I clenched my teeth at times and prayed for the best.  When it happened, I laughed in glee for a story well told.  Ms. Williamson continues to bring to life this wonderful family and I anxiously await the continuation of this series!” - Reviewed by Talia Ricci

Coffee Time Romance gives 4 cups:

“Absolutely Delightful! Ms. Williamson has penned another exciting historical that is wonderfully entertaining, and exceptionally told. Exceptional characters and very important secondary characters are the key to this amazing tale. Exploding with adventure and engaging dialogue this story packs a punch. Add steamy love scenes and you have a story you will want to read over and over again. I know this reader is looking forward to the next Malloy story.” - Reviewed by Wateena, Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance

Romance Junkies Reviews gives 5 Blue Ribbons:

“THE TREASURE is the fourth book in the Malloys Family series and if you have not read any of these books by now you are definitely missing out. If you like your hero’s hot, hard and packing and your heroines smart, sassy and not afraid to go after what they want than you will love this series. While THE TREASURE can definitely stand alone, I guarantee once you read it you will be running to grab up the rest of the stories in this awesome series. Congratulations Mrs. Williamson on another wonderful story.” - Reviewed by Dina Smith

A funny for you - BEWARE!
August 9th, 2006

I got this from my DH. It’s pretty funny! :D

WARNING! BEWARE!

A “heads up” for you and any of you guys who may be regular Home Depot customers.

Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don’t be naive enough to think it couldn’t happen to you!

Here’s how the scam works:
Two seriously good-looking 18 or 19-year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts; it is impossible not to look.

When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say”No” and instead ask you for a ride to another Home Depot; you agree and they get in the back seat.

On the way, they start having sex with each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs oral sex on you, while the other one steals your wallet.

I had my wallet stolen on June 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, three times just Yesterday, and very likely again this upcoming weekend.

Again - please beware!!
:D
