On my daily schedule to write 2K of The Gift. :(
So far, I’m up to nearly 4K, but that’s after three days, sooooo, I’m definitely at least 2K short already. Sigh…
The good news is that I am picking up speed with the plot. Sometime it’s hard to simply dive in and start a book. The first few scenes I write usually suck. Sasha always tells me to cut them. LOL!
I probably will with this one too. It was the third scene that was crystal clear in my head… showing exactly what a hound Trevor Malloy is. Tsk, tsk. He is in for such a rude awakening. Mwahahahahaha! Now onto Adelaide, the woman who will kick his ass and teach him that everything in life isn’t handed to you because of a handsome face and a honeyed tongue. ;)
Looks like my lunch hours will be spent making up some word counts…
