Life is rushing by so fast. In between my real job, my family, and my writing, I don’t even have time to scratch my ass. I did hit my 1500 word goal yesterday - woohoo! I’m at 16580 words… I feel like the little engine that could… I think I can…. I think I can…
I got a sneak peek at two of my Samhain covers and holy shit! They are soooo sexy. Scott Carpenter is a genius! I can’t wait to share them… :jittery_tb:
Anyhoo, I’ve got a million things to get done today, but wanted to at least say howdy to anyone that stopped by. Here’s a funny joke for y’all, compliments of my peep Janice. :laugh_tb:

A lady walks into a drug store and tells the pharmacist she
needs some Cyanide. The pharmacist said, “Why in the world do you need
cyanide?”

The lady then explained she needed it to poison her husband.
The pharmacist’s eyes got big and he said, “Lord have mercy, I can’t
give you cyanide to kill your husband! That’s against the law! I’ll lose
my license, they’ll throw both of us in jail and all kinds of bad
things will happen! Absolutely not, you can NOT have any cyanide!”

Then the lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of
her husband in bed with the pharmacist’s wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, “Well now, you
didn’t tell me you had a prescription.”

You’re probably sick of it by now, but I’ve got eight days to finish my first bowling story One Night Stand in The Perfect Score series for Loose Id. Eight! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Um, yeah. Time for game face. :grin2_ee:
So, where am I? Let me see… I just crossed the 15K line. If we’re talking a goal of 20-25K, then I’m in the 60-75% range. Not enough.
My wonderful cp, Sasha, is reading as quickly as I’m writing, so hopefully it will be in beautiful shape when I’m finished.

My goal is 1500 words a day until I hit the end, that gives me a few days to do a final edit. Wish me luck!

I had a huge attack on my nose and head yesterday by some nasty virus. :devil_tb: My nose looks like Rudolph, is chapped and sore. I’ve used nearly all my tissues, and I’m cranky and tired. :glurps_tb:
I hope I feel better tomorrow. I think I need him to come give me a body massage.

Sasha tagged me yesterday… So now I need to publish my five guilty pleasures.
It’s harder than you think to think of five guilty pleasures. It’s even harder to admit them. Okay, here goes.
1. Purses/pocketbooks. I have a thing about buying a new purse. It’s a sensual, uplifting experience for me. Weird but true. :laugh_tb:
2. Reese’s peanut butter cups. OMG, I love these. Really, really love them. :happy_tb:
3. Time alone. I admit it - I gleefully send DH and my sons out whenever possible so I can be alone in the house. :devil_tb:
4. Erotica. I love to read erotica and get all het up. Hopefully DH is around after I finish reading it, if not, well, I am. :wink1_tb:
5. Hardcover books. I shouldn’t buy them, but I do. I try to only buy them at BJ’s or Sam’s so they’re cheaper, but Lord, cracking open that hardcover book the first time. Oh, baby, I luv it. :cool1_tb:
