Just when I thought it was safe to go without a box of soft tissues… a nasty virus struck again! :devil_tb:
This one started on Sunday, pretending to be an allergy problem, but I had a feeling… it was more than that, especially after I took my allergy pill and nothing changed! :bigsurprise_ee:
Sigh… this one came from my 9 YO, who has nothing more than a runny nose, but you’d think he was on death’s door the way he whines about blowing his nose. Drama boy. :dry_tb:
Meanwhile, the virus hit me like a truck. I had just gotten over another cold, perhaps three days before this one hit. I was vulnerable, weak, and tempting for the evil virus. :glurps_tb:
So I’ve gone through several boxes of tissues, and my super soft ones are nearly gone (I foresee a trip to the store at lunch time). I took Nyquill last night to sleep and dammit if it didn’t wake me up every hour and a half. I’m more tired than I was yesterday! :confused_ee:
My question to you out there is, what is your favorite home remedy for a nasty head cold that is slowly making its way down to my chest? :help_tb:

One of my dad’s buddies once told me (when I was old enough), take a bottle of JD to bed and finish it. When you wake up you’ll either be cured, or won’t care. It was tequila that I had at home that time I was so sick of being sick I decided to try anything! It sort of worked too, but I had a worse headache than I’d had with the cold was the only problem. :cheese2_ee:
